Mike Lillian
Mike Lilian makes all types of willow baskets using traditional tools and techniques. He specialises in made-to-measure basketry.Kitchen drawers, laundry baskets and willow coffins are a speciality.
His workshop and showroom is surrounded by traditional potager gardens which feature live willow fences and sculptures.
The willows are grown on site and harvested annually. Unusual varieties are sourced from France and England.
In winter Mike can weave, on-site, live willow fences of various designs.

The Friendly Bay Boat Society
The Friendly Bay Boat Society are a group of boating enthusiasts who organise the Annual Harbour Regatta and have a workshop and storage facility for classic and traditional small boats in Oamaru's Historic Precinct.
